DOWNTOWN/EASTSIDE
Nick Semeraro walked into Salvatore's on East Main Street in 1983 with his brother Anthony. Nick, who was 8 at the time, loved eating the pizza and playing video games. He spent so much time there, that he asked the owner if he could make pizza boxes and hand out fliers for video game money. He quickly moved up and was working in the Kitchen part time throughout high school.
He went on to college in California for one year, then came back to Rochester and received his degree as a Graphic Designer from R.I.T. He worked as a lighting designer for one year, then met and married his wife Holly. Nick knew his true passion was in the pizza business. He came back to East Main in 2005 and worked in every aspect of the business. His specialty was creating new recipes and food items that have expanded Salvatore's extensive menu. His graphic design background has also played a major role in creating cutting edge designs for the look of Salvatore's and salvatores.com
When Nick isn't working in one of the busiest pizzerias in Monroe County, you will find him at home with wife Holly and his 2 boys. Nick hopes to own his own Salvatore's one day.
The East Main Street location of Salvatore's Old Fashioned Pizzeria is the original Salvatore's location, serving loyal customers since 1978! You'll also find Salvatore's President and owner John Coraggioso here helping out behind the counter.
